The release date of the new album „Ghosts Machine“ by the NWoBHM Band WEAPON UK as limited Vinyledition is September 27th, 2019. The pre-order phase will start on September 13th, 2019 in our webshop. The Album will release in a limited Edition of 300 black copies, with 2 Bonustracks and insert on Vinyl.
Due to the epoch in their founding time, WEAPON UK will forever be considered as a NWoBHM group. And of course, there is the British 80’s lifeblood in them, which flares up in rock / metal and drives the listener to ecstasy!
WEAPON was originally formed in 1980 as FAST RELIEF, before they caused a furor as WEAPON in the underground. Despite critical acclaim, and a major UK tour supporting Motörhead, the band never got a chance to establish itself through a variety of managerial problems and broke up after a couple of years. Fast forward to 2005 and the original lineup reformed for a couple of warm updates in London before a very successful appearance at Headbangers-Open-Air Ball, Germany on July 8th.
In 2010 Danny & Jeff decided to reform the band full time. Their first real album "Rising from the Ashes" was released in 2014, almost as a comeback album! This was preceded by a renaming of WEAPON in WEAPON UK for ‘legal reasons’. The two original members - Vocalist Danny Hynes and Guitarist Jeff Summer, along with the new rhythm section of Tony Forsythe (Bass/Vocals), and Darren Lee (Drums) release their new album ‘Ghosts Of War‘ in September 2019. The album contains ten new compositions + a remake of their 1980s single classic "Set The Stage Alight" as a vinyl bonus track. And wow, this side got a real heavy weight. In the style of SAXON and DEMON, WEAPON UK brings every traditional metal / rocker heart to a higher frequency. The vinyl fetishist has been waiting for this event for years. The demos of ALTERED STATE are being re-released - on real vinyl. ALTERED STATE was the formation in which vocalist Norman Kiersznowski, known in the metal world as Ski, were active after his retirement from the US legend DEADLY BLESSING. Six demo songs plus four rehearsals from the early 1990s are included on this masterpiece, which was released years ago on CD under the title 'Winter Warlock'. And this is going to be put on the vinyl plate by PURE STEEL RECORDS in 2019 under the name “Altered State”. Metalheads with the taste for high-pitched vocals will kneel and cry in front of this. ALTERED STATE are celebrating technical power metal and are simply indispensable for any US Metal fan.

The release date of the of the new album „Savage Peace“ by the British Heavy Metal Band STARBORN, via IRON SHIELD RECORDS, on CD is September 27th, 2019.
Thunder through the gates! Starborn hails from Newcastle, England. Beginning in the summer of 2012 the band would focus and build upon the writing projects established prior to its formation, ever evolving and sharpening its sound.
Starborn’s presence first became known with the limited release of its demo by Swords & Chains, which would go on to sell out promptly. Following hot on the heels Starborn unleashed ‘The Dreaming City’ which was quickly snapped up via Stormspell Records, and garnered some excellent press throughout the metal scene. The band would go on to share the stage with Steelwing, Noctum, Seven Sisters, Risen Prophecy, Ranger, Battleaxe, Victorius, as well as opening Newcastle’s premier heavy metal festival BroFest.
