NEW BATCH OF BANDS FOR GMM18 – LINE-UP ALMOST COMPLETE
A new year and a new list of names for Graspop Metal Meeting 2018. The 23rd edition is going to be a vintage year. The addition of these 26 bands more or less completes the bill. New to the GMM18 line-up: Accept, Arch Enemy, Baroness, Batushka, Carach Angren, Corrosion Of Conformity, Culture Abuse, Dead Cross, Diablo Blvd, Dool, Ego Kill Talent, Eisbrecher, Ghost, Hollywood Undead, Jonathan Davis, L7, Mantar, Neurosis, Perturbator, Septicflesh, Shinedown, Skillet, Skindred, The Vintage Caravan, Tremonti, Wolves In The Throne Room. The 2018 edition of Graspop Metal Meeting is going to be a special one. The festival will be one day longer for this year only, and will take place from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 June in Dessel. Musically this will be an incredibly strong year, with headliners Guns N’ Roses (Thursday), Iron Maiden (Friday), Volbeat (Saturday) and Ozzy Osbourne (Sunday). But also with Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, Parkway Drive, Ayreon and many others. A list of the names announced so far and the timetable can be found here.
TICKETS GMM18
Tickets for GMM18 are only available via ticketmaster.be and proximusgoformusic.be. VIP combi tickets for three days (Fri-Sat-Sun) and four days (Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun) are sold out. VIP day tickets are still available but are close to running out. The other festival tickets and GMM tokens are selling well. Skully says you shouldn't wait too long before purchasing. ACCOMODATIONS AT GMM
Metal Park and Metal Town can already hang up the ‘no vacancy’ sign, but a few Boneyard rental tents are still available. Skully’s tip: You want to stay in one? Don’t wait too long and reserve your rental tent on time. You can also camp at The Boneyard, the free festival campground, with your own tent. ABOUT GRASPOP METAL MEETING GMM goes XL in 2018! But it's just a one off. The festival takes place from 21 to 24 June 2018. For the 23rd time, the Stenehei festival venue in Dessel will rock to its foundations! In keeping with a proud tradition, GMM2018 will bill the crème de la crème of a variety of heavy music genres ranging from hard rock to death metal, from black metal to punk to metalcore, and many more. Tens of thousands of metalheads from across the globe will once again flock to Dessel for a high mass of epic guitar violence, high-octane blast beats and gut-wrenching screams.
