GRASPOP METAL MEETING First names of the line-up & start of ticket sales of GMM 2018
We are proud to announce the first batch of bands for Graspop Metal Meeting 2018! Many more names will be added, but it promises to have an especially strong line-up this year. Have you noticed that Graspop Metal Meeting goes XL in 2018? That means four days of partying on the Stenehei in Dessel, from Thursday 21 June to Sunday, 24 June inclusive. Bands performing at #GMM18 are: Guns N’ Roses (headliner Thursday, 21 June), Iron Maiden (headliner Friday, 22 June) and Ozzy Osbourne (headliner Sunday, 24 June). But also: A Perfect Circle, Akercocke, Amaranthe, Anti-Flag, Arkona, Asking Alexandria, Asphyx, At The Gates, Avenged Sevenfold, Blessthefall, Body Count Ft Ice T, Bölzer, Bullet For My Valentine, Carnivore A.D., Emmure, Exodus, Iced Earth, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage, Knocked Loose, Kreator, Less Than Jake, Limp Bizkit, Marduk, Megadeth, Miss May I, Modern Life Is War, Monuments, P.O.D., Parkway Drive, Pist*On, Planet Of Zeus, Powerflo, Powerwolf, Silverstein, Stone Broken, Stray From The Path, Tesseract, The Darkness, Thy Art Is Murder, Tyr, Underoath, Vader, Vixen, Watain and Zeal & Ardor. TICKETS Get ready because the sale of combi tickets, combi tickets XL and GMM tokens will start tomorrow, Saturday, 18 November at 10:00 AM. You can also book a rental tent or a stay in Metal Town or Metal Park at the same time. Day tickets will be sold later. Visit Ticketmaster.be and Proximusgoformusic.be! Each festival ticket includes access to the festival grounds and The Boneyard campsite. Combi ticket XL (Th-Fri-Sat-Sun): €245 Combi ticket (Fri-Sat-Sun): €205 VIP Combi ticket XL (Th-Fri-Sat-Sun): €369 VIP Combi ticket (Fri-Sat-Sun): €329 Ticket prices include all fees. If you purchase a combi ticket XL (VIP or standard) you are welcome at the ticket swap zone and The Boneyard campsite on Thursday, 21 June from 9:00 AM. The festival grounds will open on Thursday at 12 noon. The first bands on the main stage will play around 4:00 PM. If you purchase a regular combi ticket (VIP or standard) you are welcome from Friday morning 8 AM (not on Thursday). On Thursday, 21 June you can only enter the festival grounds and The Boneyard with a combi ticket XL, a VIP combi ticket XL or a day ticket for Thursday. Food and beverages at the festival are paid for with GMM tokens. One GMM token costs €2.85 at the festival. They only cost €2.50 a piece when purchased in advance. Skully’s tip: take advantage of this offer and purchase your tokens in advance. If you order 40 GMM tokens you’ll receive a free GMM 2018 cup. ACCOMMODATION
Looking for a place to catch your breath between performances? That’s understandable because GMM is several days of serious musical violence. We offer three options: The Boneyard is adjacent to the festival grounds, Metal Town is a few kilometers from the festival, and Metal Park is in the middle of the forest and has a subtropical aqua paradise in the backyard.
METAL TOWN Metal Town – located just over a kilometer from the festival grounds – is the perfect solution for those who want a good night’s rest after a day of musical violence. You can choose from a festihut, a festicabin or you can rent a pitch for your camper, (folding) caravan or your own tent. New in 2018: the festihut for 14 people. Round up your best friends and spend the night together at Metal Town. Good times guaranteed! Please note: the number of festihuts for 14 people is limited.
CAMPING BONEYARD Every festival attendee with a valid festival wristband can camp at the Boneyard for free. Bring your own tent or rent one of the tents that we set up in advance. You only have to bring your sleeping bag and a toothbrush. Please note: supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive on time!
METAL PARK Want a bit more comfort and relaxation? Take a look at our bungalows in Metal Park, about 15 km from the festival grounds. It offers a subtropical aqua paradise in the backyard and your Metal Park wristband allows you to use the free shuttle service between the festival grounds and Metal Park. You can choose to stay 4 or 7 nights and can choose from two types of bungalows: Select or Exclusive. More information is available on our website.
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
Once again we offer transportation to Dessel with a GMM e-train ticket for only €10*. You depart from any Belgian station and disembark at Mol station, where free shuttle buses will bring you close to the festival grounds. The GMM e-train ticket (one outward journey and one homeward journey) will be sold from 30 May 2018. We will send you a reminder when sales commence.
